In 1850 German-born, Johann Christian Liebelt purchased a block of land in the Adelaide Hills. The rest is history...

The farm has seen many different enterprises over the past 170 years; potato farming, Jersey milking cattle, sheep farming and beef cattle farming. 

And each enterprise has left a unique mark on the property... a rustic shearing shed, old wooden cattle yards, farm machinery from a bygone era, and stunning stone buildings and homestead in the farmyard.  

Seven generations later, the Liebelt family still own and run this 70 acre cattle farm.  

From winter 2021, this historic property is open to the public for an extensive array of events, weddings and special functions.
